Blip Nation Interview: Meet Alvaroxx

Blipper since: April 26, 2010

Pete Dulin: What part of the world do you live in?

Alvaroxx: In Chile, in the countryside, near a small city called Parral (Maule) in central zone.

Dulin: What would you change about Blip.FM to make it better?

Alvaroxx: Erase all the videos, and the songs with poor sound quality.

Dulin: Who would you pick as the most influential band in modern rock - The Smiths, Joy Division, Radiohead, or another band? Explain your pick.

Alvaroxx: My fave bands, uhmmm, I choose The Smiths. I'm a big fan. They had the best lyricist and guitarist, who inspired, influenced and paved the way to future major bands like Radiohead, Pulp, R.E.M. etc...

Dulin: If you could blip one song that could reach everyone on the planet, what would you choose?

Alvaroxx: "Rubber Ring" by The Smiths or "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" by Radiohead.

Dulin: What artists are you excited about for 2011?

Alvaroxx: Radiohead! I'm waiting for the new album for ages.

Dulin: What musician, singer, or band would you most like to meet? Why?

Alvaroxx: Morrissey or Thom Yorke.  I have too many questions about the lyrics.

Dulin: What has been the most pleasant discovery, experience, or aspect of Blip.FM? The most frustrating?

Alvaroxx: The pleasant discovery of new bands; or when blippers give thanks for uploading a song. Frustrating, when you reblip a lot of "your" songs, erasing your name.

Dulin: Do you play any instruments? If so, what? If not, then what would you like to learn how to play?

Alvaroxx: Nope, I'm very distracted; I cannot concentrate in one thing. I'd love to play the bass or piano.
